A lizard takes it easy on a fence in Carrot Bay, British Virgin Islands
Here in the Caribbean and especially on my island you still find houses that are painted in bright, usually contrasting colors. I personally love it! Here especially in the central town area there has been a push towards modernization. You have taller buildings going up (5 Story max), street lights (we now have 3) along with the unsavory aspects like traffic and increased crime, It is nice to just cruise along the coastal villages and enjoy the bright colors, picket fences, and simple life.
When I took this shot I was pleased just with the fence and the color of the wall behind it. The little lizard that just happened to be relaxing there was definitely a huge bonus.
