Tim Franco is French-Polish freelance photographer based in Shanghai. Since he first came to China in 2005, he got fascinated by the fast social and urban transformation that Chinese cities where going through. Throughout his work, Tim is studying the complex relationships between the people and their fast growing environment. He is a regular press contributor for Le Monde, but his work has also appeared in the NRC, Global Journal, CNN, WIWO, The Fader, Architecture d’Aujourd’hui, Urban China among others. Tim is currently working on a book in collaboration with the Enrico Navarra Gallery and a series of portraits deciphering the new Chinese Youth.
