We had the honor of experiencing a bit of the Ecuadorian Amazon is past autumn and an honor it was. It was easy to burn up a lot of film, or not to date myself, lots of high capacity memory cards. This wonderful Saki Monkey you see here is just one primate in the rainforests of Yasuni National Park that few will get to see and we had the incredible pleasure! A large, quiet, wooly and cuddly-looking monkey who lives high in the trees and whose presence is often only revealed by its long bushy tail hanging below a branch.
If you'd like to see more images from our trip to the Amazon, please read our blog or visit our web site for all the other critters and sights we photographed while there.
Happy Trails.
