We were able to film their courtship and mating: the male moved around the web, drumming with his forelegs and repeatedly reducing the web to minimize disturbances during copulation. Two times they mated, the male spider transferring glittering sperm drops to the females ovipore. The mating went on for more than an hour in the golden light of the summer evening.
His fascinating collection of historical Vancouver trolley buses includes complete pedigrees. Breaking through the gloomy sky, a fleeting spark of sunlight exploded off our gold reflector, igniting the fire dancer masquerading in this metal Mardi Gras.
When the cardinal family took up residence in the sweet tea olive outside my window, I was excited and set up my tripod and camera to photograph the family. Three eggs were laid and hatched. When the chicks first hatched, the nest was spacious. Just before the chicks left the nest, the accommodations were tight to say the least. Watching the speed at which the chicks grew and fledged was amazing.
A pair of cardinals decided to nest in the sweet tea olive outside my bedroom window. I set up my tripod and camera at the window so I could take a few photos each day. I knew mother birds were excellent parents. However, I didn’t really understand the depth of that devotion until I watched the female pant as she set on the eggs to shade them from the midday sun and then crouch on the nest with her wings and tail spread to keep the chicks dry from the rain. I also noticed that by the time the chicks left the nest, the female looked harried and worse for wear. Having raised kids myself, I did understand that.

The Advanced plan, buying SEO as a group, has become a real tool with which to enhance the number and quality of visitors to our individual websites.

From the beginning, I said that the system, like any good and honest SEO system, works slow, and it can take up to four months to yield any result. The result I have promised is very simple, an increase in number of visitors to the site of the advanced plan subscriber.

Of course, when a subscriber, for whatever personal reason, does not want the service anymore, he or she can stop at any time, simply by canceling the monthly payments. The links created by the system will have effect because they are permanent meaning that the member gets what he or she has paid for.

With this said however, when a subscriber cancels the subscription, perhaps feeling unsatisfied because site visitors were not as numerous as promised, then the system has failed. In light of this, I have come up with a solution should this situation ever arise.

A 100% money-back guarantee when no significant increase of visitors is realised after four months.

In practice.

When you are an advanced plan subscriber and notice that there is no significant increase in visitors to your website after four months (the time the system needs to prove itself), you can simply cancel your payments and send me a print-screen of your analytics which will report the first, third and fourth month. These print-screens are required as proof and feedback to the SEO companies I work with.

In cases where there is truly no increase in visitors, all of your payments, $120 (4 months x $30), for those months will be refunded.

I hope this is clear.

(note: No refund is possible before the end of the fourth month because the system needs this time to prove itself).

Just because a camera is capable of X number of frames per second does that mean it should always be fired at that rate? Here is what I’m really wondering about… is waiting for and photographing the “decisive moment” a lost art? Too many questions? I have observed all too often, while photographing in a National Park or other public space with other wildlife photographers around that many really lay on the shutter release when there is action taking place. Now, from time to time, I have ripped off a few shots of say, bull elk in the throes of a rut battle. And sometimes that really does help get a sequence of behavior. Here is where I perceive the difference……… To read the conclusion of this subject as well as many other thoughts on our photographic techniques and approaches, nature and wildlife and life in the field, click on the link to our blog on this page.

I shot this last year at the Charlotte Ultra Swim at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center before the Olympics. It was an awesome event with the likes of Cullen Jones, Michael Phelps etc. They were very approachable and took the time to talk to visitors and sign autographs. What’s most interesting about this is that I just got a call out of the clear blue from a colleague who said, “I have an extra credential…do you want to come and shoot with me?” I’m glad that I did. Half of the battle is just being there when people call. I’m glad that I did otherwise I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to capture some exemplary talent.
