Morning in the Maroon Bells Colorado

The Maroon Bells -- a pair of iconic 14,000 foot mountains -- are reflected in the water of Maroon Lake. This is one of the great photography locations in the Rocky Mountains. While autumn seems to be the most popular time to visit, the views are truly awesome all year. On many mornings, as many as 100 photogrpahers will gather at the end of the lake near the parking lot to capture the magic moments of sunrise. This definitely is a morning shoot but there are a lot of places from which to take a very good image. Of course, do the classic shot from the end of the lake but, afterward, go for a walk and find youor own favorite spot.
