Cape of Good Hope

The wonderful Cape Peninsula, is quite a rocky peninsula pointing to the south into the Atlantic Ocean. The nearly end of the continent Africa! The very end is actually Cape Alguhas, which is about 200km further south-east. The peninsula itself is about 52km long, from Table mountain in Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope.

At the Cape Agulhas the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean, not at the Cape of Good Hope! The International Hydrographic Organization defines the ocean boundaries, that the meeting point is Cape Alguhas! Very interesting!
